THE SUFFERING OF THE ROMA IN SERBIA DURING THE HOLOCAUST
From 1941 to 1944 Serbia was occupied by the Nazis, who installed a puppet government. Within this time they organized the exclusion and killing of jews and roma. The historian Milovan Pisarri researched on the genocide against roma in Serbia. In 2014 he published the book "The Suffering Of The Roma In Serbia During The Holocaust". In this interview he is talking about the situation of roma during the occupation and the development of remembrance in socialist Yugoslawia, during the yugoslawian wars in the '90s and in the current situation.
